How to Fisch Fischfest 2026
Sunshells, bottles, seven conches, and the last-week closeout before 12 Sep 2026.
Fischfest 2026 is the limited summer beach in Roblox Fisch (Fisching / WoozyNate, live online since 5 October 2024). The window runs 20 June 2026 through 12 September 2026 at 12:00 PM ET. Sunshells are the event currency. The island is a separate beach destination, not a reskin of Moosewood. It shares its final day with the Skycrest floating-island window, so treat Sunshell shops as gone after noon ET on the 12th even if the rest of the map stays.
This page is the route: how you reach the beach, how Captain Conch and Marina actually progress, where the six bottles and seven conches sit, why the 10-crab side quest does not fill a story checkbox, and which event rods are still worth a last-week grind. Redeem nothing from old Fischfest thumbnails; those strings are on expired codes. Live codes sit on codes. Cast help lives on controls. C$ (not Sunshells) still follows the money guide.
How to reach the beach
There are two travel methods. Only one works on day one.
Walk to Moosewood, stand by the leaderboards, and enter the large clam / portal. That teleport is the entire early-event route. Do not sail looking for a dock labeled Fischfest.
The Magical Conch sits in hotbar slot 9 once your other slots are full. Using it early prints a lock message. The in-game prompt only says you need to complete around 50% of the event, so treat that threshold as approximate. Until it unlocks, keep using the clam. If slot 9 is empty, you still have a free hotbar cell; fill the bar or you will not see the item. Input mapping for the hotbar is on controls.
Captain Conch, Marina, and the shoreline
On arrival, talk to Captain Conch, then follow the tracker to Marina. Their questline is the spine: fireworks, event fish, bottles, conches, and the sand-castle gate. Side NPCs pay Sunshells, but they do not replace Marina’s steps.
The shoreline is the background economy. Waves wash Sunshells, coastal crates, relics, a plastic shovel, and the yellow message bottle onto the sand. Items despawn in about a minute. Check the beach between casts instead of treating it as decoration. Sell Fischfest fish to the event merchant (about 1 Sunshell per 1,000 C$ of value) rather than to a First Sea appraiser if you want currency that actually spends on this island.
Event relics (Tropical, Paradise, Beached) are Sunshell sinks that change the next catch, not a replacement for Keepers Altar work already mapped in the enchanting guide and rod progression. Do not reroll Olympian Godbreaker the night before the beach closes just because a relic looks seasonal.
Six bottles
You need the colored message bottles before most of the digs. They are not all shoreline luck.
- Yellow - washes up on the shoreline. Grab it while you farm shells.
- Orange - Bonfire Blake’s first reward for tossing driftwood on the flame.
- Purple - buy from the Sunshell merchant in the village for 6,000 Sunshells.
- Red - automatic for finishing the jet ski race in under 2 minutes.
- Green - two wins at the sand-castle minigame.
- Blue - random drink from the drink vendor, 1-in-6, guaranteed by the sixth purchase (15-minute cooldown, drinks cost Sunshells).
Read each bottle, then dig. Skipping the read is how people stand on the right sand with the wrong shovel prompt.
Seven conches and the Heart of the Island
Six bottles point at six digs. The pink conch is a quest catch, not a bottle.
- Yellow - climb the ramp by the volleyball court; dig at the side of the blue building up top.
- Orange - at the sand-castle pedestals, dig between the orange and green platforms.
- Blue - on Bigfoot Island behind Captain Conch; dig on the left past Bigfoot.
- Purple - at the jet ski tunnel entrance, dig in front of the little two-door house.
- Green - behind the ship at the jet ski finish line, dig in the corner.
- Red - from the green spot, turn toward the lone light post and dig there.
- Pink - catch three Sun Slashers on the questline (no bottle).
Place all seven colored conches on the matching pedestals to open the Heart of the Island / sand-castle gate. Wrong color on a pedestal does nothing. The gate is the story beat, not a decoration you can clip through with a coil.
Ten crabs for Sandy Finn
Start this side quest at Sandy Finn, standing at the Krabby Coconut Abundance. He wants 10 crabs. The full crab list does not count toward Marina’s “complete 5 random quests” step. Do five other NPC quests for that checkbox and treat crabs as their own errand.
Condensed crab map: drink-vendor counter shelf; flowers at the blue house by the Fischfest merchant; lone palm on the tiny island near the jet ski referee; railing at the top of the red lighthouse; main door of the yellow lighthouse on Bigfoot’s island; wall at the sand-castle area; roof / ledge of that same blue house; longer waterfall on the left; purple crab inside that waterfall on the floor to the right; balcony above the Sunshell merchant.
Hand-in reward: 500 Sunshells, 5 coastal crates, and the tanned krabby coconut. That coconut is a Sand Castle Caster craft piece, which is why the crabs are not skippable if you want the rod.
Lemonade Serenade and the other event rods
Lemonade Serenade is the questline payoff. After Captain Conch / Marina are done, the Sunshell merchant sells it for 20 Lagoon Lemonades. Those drinks come from the drink vendor’s random drink, which has a 15-minute cooldown. Start buying drinks the hour you land. Waiting until the gate opens is how people miss the rod when the event has two days left. Keep every Lagoon Lemonade; the blue bottle and the rod share that vendor.
Other sticks worth a last-week pass:
- Beach Ball - Beach Volleyball score 25 (needs a second player).
- Floaty - Competitive Carter quest (jet ski wins under 2 minutes, volleyball score, sand-castle wins).
- Pool Noodle - 1,000 Sunshells from the vendor in front of the jet ski referee.
- Sand Castle Caster - craft with sandy rod shaft (5 sand-castle wins), tanned krabby coconut (10 crabs), a sandy sand fort, and 5,000 Sunshells.
Rank them against your real stick on the rod tier list. A Pool Noodle is a seasonal toy. It does not replace rod progression.
Codes: dead festival strings vs the live trio
Fischfest2026, KingCrabstle, and the other June weekly strings are expired. They needed Level 25+ and they will not return Sunshells, floaties, or titles. Archive: expired codes. As of early September 2026 the only codes this wiki treats as live are SCARLET, TemporarySubmarine, and CARBON on codes. Redeem those in Menu; they are cosmetics, not a Sunshell grant.
Last week before 12 September
Skycrest opens 5 September 2026 at 12:00 PM ET and both events close 12 September 2026 at 12:00 PM ET. Use the Skycrest update for C$ / Level 1000 prep. Do not abandon seven empty pedestals because a floating island appeared overhead.
Closeout order: Magical Conch if it has unlocked (otherwise the Moosewood clam), leftover Marina steps, seven matching conches, 20 Lagoon Lemonades, tanned coconut if you still need Sand Castle Caster, then spend leftover Sunshells on relics you will actually use. After noon ET on the 12th, come back to the Updates Hub instead of standing on a missing beach. The shoreline will not wash you a second summer.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers for codes, rods, and Saturday patches.
When does Fischfest 2026 end?
12 September 2026 at 12:00 PM ET. That is the same close as Skycrest. Sunshell shops do not stay after the beach.
How do I get to Fischfest Island?
Use the clam / portal by the Moosewood leaderboards. The Magical Conch in hotbar slot 9 unlocks later, around 50% event progress. Hotbar notes: controls.
Does the 10-crab quest count as one of the 5 random quests?
No. Sandy Finn at the Krabby Coconut Abundance is a separate side quest. Do five other NPC quests for that story step. The crab reward is 500 Sunshells, 5 coastal crates, and a tanned krabby coconut.
How do I open the Heart of the Island?
Collect six colored bottles, dig six matching conches, catch three Sun Slashers for the pink conch, then place all seven on the matching pedestals at the sand-castle gate.
How do I get Lemonade Serenade?
Finish the Captain Conch / Marina questline, then buy it for 20 Lagoon Lemonades. Start the 15-minute drink vendor early; that timer is the real wall.
Do Fischfest2026 and KingCrabstle still work?
No. Festival codes are on expired codes. Paste only SCARLET, TemporarySubmarine, and CARBON from codes.
