How to Fisch Players, crews, and settings
Online multiplayer habits that keep C$, relics, and Limited fish on your account.
How to Fisch is online multiplayer. Fisch by Fisching launched on Roblox on 5 October 2024 with a C$ economy, shared islands, hunts, and a Trade Plaza. This Players Hub is the people layer: crews, trading, settings that stop you selling keepers, the new player filter, and the controls page. It is not a PvP roster. Your “team” is the crew you pay for and the settings you turn on before the first sell-all.
If you are still on Flimsy, finish Getting Started first. Then come back here before you join a random trade or dump inventory into Marc.
Crews
The full walkthrough is the Crews Guide. Crews live in the Crew House on Moosewood. Talk to Crew Herald to open the Crew Board.
- Create a crew: 50,000 C$ and Level 200.
- Start size: 10 members. Crew Architect upgrades raise cap toward 50 for Seasonal Crew Rating plus more C$.
- Why join anyway: daily and weekly challenges, crew cosmetics, and a stable group for hunts. You do not need a crew to fish Carbon. You need one when you want rating rewards and a callout channel that is not public chat.
Do not found a crew on a fresh account. Bank Carbon, a boat, and a real rod route from rods ranked first. 50,000 C$ is a Midas-adjacent pile; spending it on a logo before Magma Rod is a vanity wipe.
If you join someone else’s crew, read the join setting. Open crews collect strangers. Invite-only crews collect people who already fish together. Either is fine if you know which one you clicked.
Trading caution
Trading unlocks around Level 15 for both sides. Direct trade is E (or tap) on another player. The Trade Plaza is a different island: boats, bobbers, and rod skins for C$, not live fish. Speak to the Trade Plaza traveler on Moosewood when you want a booth.
Rules that keep C$ on your account:
- Favorite keepers before you trade. Right-click on PC, double-tap on mobile, so a misclick cannot move the wrong fish.
- Enchant Relics are trade bait and enchant fuel. Do not “tip” relics to a stranger who promised a rod.
- Limited, Exotic, Secret, and Apex fish are the items scams target. If the deal is only possible because you are rushing, decline.
- Trade Plaza booths cannot sell fish. Anyone who says otherwise is selling a story.
- Cross-check values on your own merchant price and weight. There is no official How to Fisch price list in this hub on purpose — values move, relics stay useful.
If you only want PvE, you can ignore trading forever. The money guide is merchant C$, not plaza C$.
Settings: lock Limited and Exotic
Merchant sell-all is fast and ruthless. Settings let you turn auto-sell off per rarity. Default protection already covers Relic and many high rarities; do not turn Limited or Exotic on until you have locked the specific keepers you mean to keep.
Practical lock order:
- Favorite Enchant Relics, Depths Keys, and any Limited/Exotic/Secret fish.
- Confirm Limited and Exotic auto-sell are off.
- Sell commons and unstarred trash to the merchant.
- Only then appraise or trade.
The session checklist repeats this every login because one sell-all pays for nothing if it eats a relic. GPS, boat, and next-rod targets sit on that same page.
New player filter
When you join Fisch, use the New Player server filter (or a quieter server) while you learn casts. Crowded hunt servers are loud, full of trade spam, and easy to mis-sell in. A filtered server will not make Carbon cheaper. It will make the first two hours readable.
Leave the filter when you need hunts, Travelling Merchant stock, or a crew that is already parked on an island. Online multiplayer is the point; you are choosing noise, not single-player.
New accounts should also stay off untrusted scripts until controls feel automatic. Macros and injected tools are how people lose the account they just set up.
Controls live next door
All binds — PC, mobile, console — are on fishing controls. Cast, shake, and reel are Mouse 1 on PC. Lock the camera on the fish with Mouse 2. Inventory is the backtick key. Shift is Shift Lock. E is interact. Hotbar 1 / 2 / 3 is rod, Equipment Bag, Bestiary.
If the minigame feels unfair, it is often Control and Resilience, not a broken bind. Fix the rod on rods ranked, then the bait on bait ranked.
Session order for a social account
Redeem codes with how to redeem. Run daily shop and daily challenges. Check locks. Fish. Sell commons. Meet the crew after the bank is safe. Patch notes on updates, boards on Trello, extra links on the wiki hub. The Tier List Hub is what you buy; this hub is who you fish next to.
