How to Fisch Redeem Fisch Codes on PC and Mobile
Menu button, Codes box, Enter. Level 25 gates, the old group rumor, and why a live code still fails.
The Codes box in Fisch is easy to miss. It is not a separate shop NPC and it is not on the Roblox game page. It sits at the bottom of the Settings list inside the in-game Menu. Once you know that, redeeming live codes takes about fifteen seconds. This walkthrough covers PC, mobile, the Level 25 gate, and the old “join the Fisching group” advice that 2024 guides still repeat.
You can redeem codes on a brand-new save. You do not need to finish Pierre’s tutorial first, though loading into Moosewood with the Flimsy Rod makes it obvious when a reward lands in inventory. Codes are not case-sensitive. They are one-time per account.
PC (keyboard and mouse)
- Open Fisch from Roblox and wait until the HUD appears (stamina, Menu, rod).
- Click Menu at the top of the screen. Some players press M and then open Settings; both routes reach the same panel.
- Scroll past User Settings and Preferences until you see Codes and a Type Code Here field.
- Click the field. Paste SCARLET, TemporarySubmarine, or CARBON (or any newer live string from the Codes Hub).
- Press Enter. A success message lists the items. A failure message usually means expired, already used, or a level gate.
Do not press the Roblox ESC menu and hunt for a codes tab there. That menu is the platform overlay, not Fisch Settings.
Mobile (touch)
- Launch Fisch on the Roblox app and wait for the world to load.
- Tap Menu at the top of the HUD (same control as PC, just smaller).
- Drag the Settings list down to Codes.
- Tap Type Code Here, paste from this wiki, and hit the keyboard’s Enter / Go / Return key.
If your on-screen keyboard hides the field, close the keyboard, scroll the list so the box stays visible, then open it again. A Bluetooth keyboard’s Enter key also submits. After a success toast, close Menu and open inventory; skins and bobbers do not always auto-equip.
Level 25 (and higher) gates
The three long-lived codes on the Codes Hub have no level requirement. Many weekly codes did. Official tables marked strings such as SkycrestNextWeek, ShootingStars, and Fischfest2026 as Level 25+. A few compensation codes used Level 50+ or even Level 1000+.
If you paste a code that is still live for other people and the game refuses it, check your level before you assume expiry. New accounts on Moosewood are often Level 1-10. Fish, sell, and follow Getting Started plus the fishing guide until you clear 25 if you want those event bundles. Controls cover the cast / shake / reel inputs that actually earn that XP.
The Fisching group: required in 2024 guides, not required in 2026 docs
A lot of 2024 and early 2025 third-party articles said you must join the Fisching Roblox group before codes work. The official wiki in 2026 does not list a group join as a redeem requirement. It says: open the Codes section of Settings, paste, and note that codes are not case-sensitive.
What the group still does: some builds show a chest or prompt near the Codes box along the lines of like-and-join for a C$ bonus (guides have quoted 5,000 C$). That is a separate claim, not a lock on SCARLET or CARBON. Join the group if you want the chest; skip it if you only care about promo strings.
If an old YouTube video tells you codes are case-sensitive, that was true in early builds. A later patch (called out in patch notes around the THEKRAKEN era) made codes not case-sensitive. Paste without spaces and you are fine.
After a successful redeem
- SCARLET appears as a rod skin. Apply it on a rod you use; stats do not change. See rod progression and the rod tier list.
- TemporarySubmarine parts go to submarine cosmetics: Back Fins, Metal Panels, Side Fins, Submarine Top, Windows.
- CARBON is a bobber. Swap it in the bobber slot; it is visual only.
- Event codes that grant C$ just add currency. Spend it with a plan from the money guide and bait tier list.
If the toast succeeds but you see nothing, re-open inventory, check skins / bobbers / boats / bait tabs, and hop servers. Do not redeem again; the second attempt will say already used.
When the box says no
Work down this list:
- Compare the string to the Codes Hub. If it is on Expired Codes, stop.
- Strip spaces. Do not add punctuation the table does not show.
- Confirm level for event codes.
- Rejoin after a shutdown listed on Updates. Old servers can reject a code the new build accepts.
- Confirm you are in Fisch the Roblox fishing RPG, not a clone experience.
Official drop channels are Discord and X (@fischonroblox, @WoozyNate), collected on official links. The Trello is for systems, not a codes hotline. Calculators that help you spend C$ after a claim sit under Tools.
Scripts that “auto redeem” or inject the client are unrelated to this Menu box and are a ban risk; see the Scripts Hub only if you are researching that demand, then read script safety.
Redeem the three live codes once, then go back to fishing. The Menu path does not change between updates even when the table does.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers for codes, rods, and Saturday patches.
Where is the Codes box in Fisch?
Tap Menu at the top of the HUD, scroll Settings to the bottom, and use Type Code Here. Full PC and mobile steps are in this guide; live strings are on the Codes Hub.
Do I have to join the Fisching group to redeem codes?
The official 2026 wiki does not require the group. Older guides said you must join. A group chest may still grant bonus C$, but it is not the lock on SCARLET, TemporarySubmarine, or CARBON.
Why does a code work for my friend but not for me?
Usually they already used it, you are under a Level 25+ gate, or you are on a stale server. Compare live codes and expired codes, then rejoin after updates.
Can I redeem codes on mobile?
Yes. Same Menu path. Paste into Type Code Here and submit with the on-screen Enter / Go key. If the keyboard covers the box, close it, scroll, and try again.
I just started on Moosewood. Can I redeem now?
Yes for the three long-lived codes. Finish Getting Started when you want Level 25 for weekly event strings. Fishing is how you get that XP.
Are codes entered on the Roblox website?
No. Only the in-game Settings Codes box works. Links and socials are listed on official links.
